Run a course...

If you have a need in your community or feel your group would benefit from participating in a self-worth program, then why not consider running a course? We’ve answered some of our most frequently asked questions below, but please get in touch if you have any further questions or would like more information.

Who can run an Inspire course?

Anyone. The courses are designed to be taught by anyone who can lead a group, with no prior training necessary. The carefully thought-out Leaders’/Teachers’ Guide and PowerPoint Presentations will guide leaders through every step of the teaching process. The Activities Guide (available as an eBook) and printable Digital Downloads will also help leaders prepare for many of the additional course activities.

Please Note. Whilst anyone can lead an Inspire course, it is a condition of our licence that Licensees should handle all of their safeguarding requirements within the framework of their organisation. This will inevitably involve DBS checks, safeguarding training, and risk assessments, as would be required for running any young person’s activity. Individuals and organisations wishing to run Inspire must also carry appropriate insurance covering all aspects of the course. The Self Worth Partnership is not responsible in any way for the well-being of participants of the courses.

How much does it cost to run a course?

It depends. Whilst we have priced our courses to make them as affordable and accessible as possible (for both small and large organisations), there are other factors to consider, such as the size of your group, the venue you use, and the optional activities you choose to engage in. When working out the cost of running a course, the general teaching resources required to teach Inspire will need to be taken into account, as will the cost of resources for the optional activities.

Please see our pricing page for the cost of the courses and books. On each course page is a list of resources that will need to be purchased in addition to the materials provided by The Self Worth partnership. (Please note. Many of the course resources are reusable, so once obtained will help reduce the cost of future courses.)

What happens if I decide to run a course but then change my mind?

No problem. We understand that circumstances can change, and you may no longer be able to run a course with your group. We therefore offer a full money-back guarantee on both the licence and teaching materials.  All we ask is that you return the books to us, at which point we will refund you in full.

(Please note that refunds must be requested within 30 days of receiving the material. Refunds for both the licence and the books will be processed as soon as we have received the books back from you. We regret that we are unable to cover the cost of return postage.)

How do I know whether Inspire is the right course for my group or organisation?

You don’t. We are conscious that to make an informed choice as to whether Inspire is the right course for your group or organisation, you will need time to read through and consider the teaching material. This is one of the reasons we offer a full refund on both the licence and course books if Inspire is not the course you were hoping for.

Please note that whilst the teaching material is easy-to-use and supported by PowerPoint presentations, an Activities Guide, and other helpful digital downloads if you require a ready-to-go course with little or no preparation, Inspire may not be the best course for you. This is because our Inspire courses contain lots of imaginative and creative ideas and activities to help make them more engaging, interactive, practical, and fun!
